Aviation Analytics
The numbers behind American aviation, each page a short story in plain English with a chart or two: the fleet and who builds it, what is joining and leaving the register, where and when accidents happen and which models they involve, the busiest airports, and what the live picture shows. Everything is about models, makers, places and years; never about a person.

About these pages
Every figure is computed once a night from the files this site already holds: the FAA's aircraft register (daily), the NTSB's accident database (weekly), the FAA's airport file and Terminal Area Forecast, and the site's own record of live positions. Each page says where its numbers come from and the date of the data. Rates per thousand aircraft use today's register as the denominator, which is a fair approximation over a ten-year window but not an exact exposure measure; nothing here weighs hours flown.
