The U.S. aircraft register, updated daily
Terms

Terms of use for eFlight's data

The records behind this site are published by the FAA, the NTSB and the Department of Transportation and are public. What eFlight adds — the codes translated into words, the names cleaned up, the records linked into one graph, the plain-English write-ups, the daily rebuild — is eFlight's work. These terms say how you may use it.

Reading and quoting

Every page is free to read. Quote figures and passages freely, with credit to "eFlight (https://eflight.com)" and a link to the page, and credit the FAA, the NTSB or the DOT as the source of the underlying record where the page names it.

The small feeds

Today's headline numbers, one aircraft as data, one record's connections and the analytics data files are open to all, including search engines and AI systems, for reading and for building on, with the same credit.

The data files

The clean database and the graph files are available to registered users on request (register here), for their own use: analysis, research, reporting, an internal tool. Please ask before republishing them, selling them, or building a product or a competing service on them: write to information@eflight.com and say what you have in mind; the answer is usually yes with credit.

What we never allow

Bulk copying of the site's pages; using the data to contact people whose names the FAA or the NTSB publishes; removing the credit; or presenting eFlight's write-ups as your own. Owner details appear exactly as the FAA publishes them, and records the FAA withholds at the owner's request stay withheld; please keep it that way in anything you make.

These terms are the site's policy at this time and may change; the date of the current version is October 13, 2026. Questions: information@eflight.com. See also what we show and what we never do and what eFlight is and where the data comes from.
