THE PILOT TOOK OFF INTO ADVERSE WX CONDITIONS & FAILED TO ATTAIN SUFFICIENT ALTITUDE TO CLEAR TREES. THE PURPOSE OF THE FLIGHT WAS TO SEARCH FOR A MISSING ACFT.
