About these pages
The facts come from the FAA's airport file, which the FAA publishes every 28 days: runways and their surfaces and lights, radio frequencies, fuel and repair services, hours, based aircraft and the FAA's yearly count of takeoffs and landings. This site adds the weather right now from the government's aviation weather service, the aircraft registered in the airport's town from the FAA register, and the NTSB's accident record at or near the airport. Owners are shown only when they are an organisation (a city, a county, an authority, a company); no person is named. Private-use airfields have pages too, reached from accident records, but are not listed here.
