The FAA's summary their words, unchanged
This amended special condition is being issued to delete the requirement to protect the electronic flight instrument system (EFIS) from high energy radiated electromagnetic fields (HERF) in the Beech Model 55 series airplanes. The deletion of the HERF requirement for this program is needed to make this special condition consistent with current FAA policy. This amendment will permit timely issuance of the Supplemental Type Certificate.
