The FAA's summary their words, unchanged
These special conditions are issued to become put of the type certification basis for Beech Aircraft Corporation Model 33 Series, Model 35 Series, and Model 36 Series airplanes that are modified to incorporate anti-detonation injection (ADI) system provisions. The certification basis for the existing type design of these airplanes does not contain adequate or appropriate safety standards for these systems. These special conditions contain the additional safety standards which the Administrator finds necessary to establish a level of safety equivalent to the original certification basis for these airplanes.
