The United Soybean Board (USB) is a governing body responsible for the U.S. commodity checkoff program for soybeans, comprising 73 volunteer farmer-directors who manage the soybean checkoff funds. These funds, mandated by Congress and overseen by the USDA Agricultural Marketing Service, are used for soybean research and promotion.
