Essar Stanlow Manufacturing Complex is a fuel production facility located in Ellesmere Port, Cheshire, UK. It plays a strategic role in the UK economy by supplying 16% of all road transport fuels. The complex employs over 900 staff and supports an additional 5,000 people indirectly. It is set to become the UK's first low carbon refinery with the construction of a hydrogen facility capable of producing 1GW per year of hydrogen from 2026.
