The Department for Business, Energy, and Industrial Strategy (BEIS) was a department of His Majesty's Government, formed on 14 July 2016 by merging the Department for Business, Innovation, and Skills (BIS) and the Department of Energy and Climate Change (DECC). It was dissolved on 7 February 2023, with its functions split into three new departments.
