Buckeye Partners is a distributor of petroleum in the East and Midwest areas of the United States. It is one of the largest independent oil pipelines in the country, managing over 6,200 miles of petroleum pipelines and over 100 truck-loading terminals. The company has a history dating back to 1886 and was a part of Standard Oil. It became independent after Standard Oil's dissolution in 1911 and was acquired by IFM Investors in 2019 for $10.3 billion, becoming a wholly-owned subsidiary under IFM's 'Global Infrastructure Fund'.
