The European Consumer Organisation (BEUC) is an umbrella consumers' group that represents 45 European consumer organisations from 32 countries. Founded in 1962 and based in Brussels, Belgium, BEUC acts as the consumer voice in Europe, defending the interests of consumers in the decision-making process of the European Union institutions.
