About
The Aviation Climate Taskforce (ACT) is a global group of industry leaders committed to decarbonizing the aviation sector. ACT aims to accelerate breakthroughs in critical emerging technologies by 10 years, focusing on a portfolio approach to develop a range of technologies to de-risk the path to net-zero emissions. The organization advocates for mid-term solutions like Power-to-liquid synthetic fuels and direct air capture, and works to overcome the 'Valley of Death' for emerging technologies, ensuring they reach commercial development. ACT operates through three pillars, with the Innovation Network being a key component, and is associated with the Boston Consulting Group.

A company page draws on the SAFxCHANGE record: the agreement table (2013 to late 2023), the plants table (December 2023) and what the reader has found in the news since, marked unverified until checked. The categories follow the SAFxCHANGE value-chain map; they were assigned from the company's role in the deals and plants and from what is written about it, and a company can fill more than one. Names are matched by their words, so a company recorded under two very different names may show on two pages.
