Optional items may be installed in any combination as follows: Option 1: Radome In accordance with drawings 150017, 190011, 190018 and 190019. Mass with an equivalent weight of 35 lbs. may be installed with a center of gravity no farther forward than 6.61 inches aft of bulkhead 190011-11, as defined in Aerofab, Inc. Engineering Report 4-250-2, dated November 4, 1991, and drawing 190019. This STC does not approve the installation of a radar, antenna, wave guide or transmitter, nor radar/radome system compatibility. Option 2: Dual Alternator System In accordance with drawings 4-7781 and 4-7782. Option 3: Bow Compartment Covers In accordance with drawing 4-3501. Option 4: Upper Fin Revision In accordance with drawing 4-2652, Revision C. Option 5: Disassembly Provisions In accordance with drawing 300015. Option 6: Dual Rudder/Aileron Electric Trim System In accordance with drawing 4-3519 and STC SA1142SO. CONFIGURATION 2: Same as Configuration 1 except aft sets installed in accordance with Configuration 2 of STC SA469NE and aft seat weight restriction placard installed in accordance with drawing 4-7003. What an approved modification is
A supplemental type certificate is the FAA's approval of a change to a certified design: a new engine or propeller, avionics, an autopilot, floats, a parachute, a larger fuel tank, an ice-protection kit. The company holding it may sell the kit and the paperwork to owners of the listed models; the modification then becomes part of that aircraft's record. The FAA's list says what was approved and for which models, not how many aircraft carry it.
