THE ACFT LOST ENG PWR SHORTLY AFTER TAKEOFF. THE PLT ATTEMPTED TO LAND BACK ON THE RWY BUT RAN OFF THE END INTO A DITCH. THE REASON FOR THE POWER LOSS COULD NOT BE DETERMINED.
