The student pilot reported that during landing the airplane ballooned and the right wing dipped. She said that she overcorrected, and the airplane went to the left side of the runway and struck a sign resulting in substantial damage to the airplane’s fuselage. She reported that there were no mechanical failures or malfunctions that contributed to the accident.
