On August 18, 2025, about 1300 Pacific daylight time, an experimental amateur-built Jabirwatt, N824DW, was substantially damaged when it was involved in an accident near Albany, Oregon. The pilot was not injured. The airplane was operated as a Title 14 Code of Federal Regulations Part 91 personal flight. The pilot reported that about 3.5 miles northwest of the Albany Municipal Airport (S12), Albany, Oregon, at 1,500 ft mean sea level (msl), the engine lost all power.
