The public federal record on N133BH, read the way a buyer, lender or insurer reads it: FAA registration, prior tail numbers keyed on the serial number, reuse of the tail number, recent registry filings, and the NTSB accident record under this and every earlier registration.
Valid registration to Brown Helicopter INC, a corporation, certificate issued April 23, 2015, expires April 30, 2028. No fractional interest recorded. [1]
The airworthiness certificate on file is dated September 24, 1982, 13 years after the 1969 manufacture year. A re-issued certificate commonly follows export and re-import, a rebuild, or a return to the register after cancellation. The cause is documented in the FAA aircraft records file, which the full report obtains. [1]
No earlier tail number is recorded against serial 990122S for this model in the deregistered file. [2]
N133BH was previously assigned to 2 other aircraft: Bell Helicopter Textron Canada 412EP (serial 36525, cancelled January 21, 2010); Piper PA-23-250 (serial 27-3198, cancelled January 26, 2007). Histories keyed to the tail number alone can mix aircraft up; this check keys on the serial number. [2]

NTSB records 1
Aircraft on the NTSB record: Piper PA-23-250 · operated under 091
The pilot's failure to maintain aircraft control during the circling approach and his failure to perform a missed approach when the airplane was no longer in a position to land using normal flight maneuvers. Contributing to the accident was the pilot's decision to operate below the approach's authorized minimum descent altitude (MDA) before having the airport/runway environment visible. Additional factors were the low cloud ceiling and visibility.
