THE STUDENT PILOT WHILE ON A CROSS-COUNTRY FLIGHT ENCOUNTERED POOR WEATHER CONDITIONS. DURING A TURN AND DESCENT TO MAINTAIN VISUAL CONTACT WITH TERRAIN THE AIRCRAFT COLLIDED WITH THE GROUND.
