On April 8, 2026, about 1033 mountain standard time, a Cessna 150G, N4714X, was substantially damaged when it was involved in an accident near Phoenix, Arizona. The flight instructor and student pilot were not injured. The airplane was being operated as a Title 14 Code of Federal Regulations Part 91 instructional flight. A review of preliminary ADS-B data revealed that after departure the airplane flew north about 10 miles to a practice area where it performed several maneuvers.
