On February 09, 2026, about 1732 eastern standard time, a Beechcraft G36, N229TT, was substantially damaged when it was involved in an accident near Gainesville, Georgia. The pilot and flight instructor were uninjured, and two occupants of separate automobiles received minor injuries. The airplane was operated as a Title 14 Code of Federal Regulations Part 91 personal flight. According to the pilot, the purpose of the flight was to build flight hours with a flight instructor to satisfy insurance requirements for single-pilot operations.
