The FAA's summary their words, unchanged
The FAA is correcting an error that appeared in the Federal Register on March 5, 2020, for Special Conditions No. 25-760-SC, Docket No. FAA-2019-0329. In that document, the final special conditions text is incorrect and this document now posts the correct text.\n\nThese special conditions are issued for The Boeing Company (Boeing) Model 787-10 series airplanes. These airplanes will have a novel or unusual design feature when compared to the state of technology envisioned in the airworthiness standards for transport category airplanes. This design feature is single-occupant oblique seats equipped with pretensioner restraint systems. The applicable airworthiness regulations do not contain adequate or appropriate safety standards for this design feature. These special conditions contain the additional safety standards that the Administrator considers necessary to establish a level of safety equivalent to that established by the existing airworthiness standards.
