On October 20, 2024, about 1600 eastern daylight time, an experimental amateur-built Lancair 360, N510G, was substantially damaged when it was involved in an accident in Cross City, Florida. The commercial pilot and passenger were fatally injured. The airplane was operated as a Title 14 Code of Federal Regulations Part 91 personal flight. The pilot had filed an instrument flight rules flight plan from Atmore Municipal Airport (0R1), Atmore, Alabama to Cross City Airport (CTY), Cross City, Florida.
