DFW08LA118Accident on April 26, 2008 at Galveston, TX: no injuries, substantial damage.

Aircraft on the NTSB record: Vickers Spitfire · serial MK9-TE308

The Hurricane pilot's failure to maintain directional control during roll-out. Contributing to the accident were the restricted forward visibility of the tail-wheel equipped Spitfire, the lack of communication to the other aircraft following the Hurricane, and the limited view of the runway by the airboss.
