On August 10, 2026, at about 1835 mountain daylight time, an experimental amateur built Glasair Sportsman 2 Plus 2 airplane, N202AZ, was destroyed when it was involved in an accident near Pine, Arizona. The pilot and passenger were fatally injured. The airplane was operated as Title 14 Code of Federal Regulations Part 91 personal flight.
