In the air right now
Every aircraft the network can hear over the United States, with the facts behind each one in plain English. Type a tail number or flight number to find one and follow it.
Positions from the adsb.lol community network (open data). Aircraft whose owners asked the FAA not to be displayed are left out. The network allows this site only a few questions a minute, so the country picture is refreshed area by area and a position can be several minutes old; faded aircraft are the older ones. Between two real positions an aircraft is moved along its heading at its speed, for up to three minutes, so it glides rather than hops. Click an aircraft to see the line of where it has been in the last six hours, coloured by altitude. Map: OpenFreeMap, OpenMapTiles, OpenStreetMap contributors. For understanding what is overhead, not for flying.
