THE PLT RPRTD THAT DURING AN EXTERNAL LOAD OPERATION, THE HELICOPTER RAN OUT OF FUEL. SUBSEQUENTLY, IT WAS DAMAGED WHEN IT TOUCHED DOWN HARD DURING A FORCED LANDING.
