THE PILOT IN COMMAND'S IMPROPER FLARE WHICH RESULTED IN THE AIRCRAFT BALLOONING DURING LANDING, FOLLOWED BY HIS IMPROPER RECOVERY FROM THE BALLOONED LANDING WHICH RESULTED IN THE AIRCRAFT TOUCHING DOWN HARD ON THE NOSE LANDING GEAR CAUSING IT TO COLLAPSE.
