On September 11, 2016, at 1606 local time, Cessna 172RG, VH-MKG, while hand-starting the engine at Parafield Aerodrome, Australia, the pilot was fatally injured and the damage to the airplane is unknown. The flight was under the pertinent civil regulations of the government of Australia. The investigation is under the jurisdiction of the Government of Australia.
