On December 11, 2008, at 2253 universal coordinated time, an Embraer EMB145, registration OH-EBE, sustained minor damage to the tailcone after the Auxillary Power Unit (APU) caught fire during taxi after landing at Kemi-Tornio Airport, Kemi, Finland. The airplane was being operated by Finnish Commuter Airlines Oy. The 2 pilots, 1 cabin crew member, and 22 passengers were not injured. The investigation is under the jurisdiction of, and is being investigated by, the Accident Investigation Board of Finland. This report is for information purposes only and contains information released by the Accident Investigation Board.
