ON INITIAL CLIMB OVER TREES BORDERING 2500-FT MOUNTAIN STRIP, PLT EXPERIENCED SUDDEN AND SEVERE WIND GUSTS BEYOND HIS CAPABILITY TO COUNTER. ACFT COLLIDED WITH TREES AND TERRAIN.
