THE PLT RPRTD THAT DURING A LANDING, THE FLIGHT ENCOUNTERED A SEVERE DOWNDRAFT AND IMPACTED THE GROUND HARD, COLLAPSING THE NOSE GEAR AND INCURRING OTHER DAMAGE TO THE AIRCRAFT.
