On March 10, 2016, about 1611 UTC, a Swiss Global Air Lines AVRO 146-RJ100 airplane, Swiss registration HB-IYT, rejected its takeoff at Zurich, Switzerland at 45 knots because of sparks coming from the No. 2 engine. The investigation of this incident is under the jurisdiction and control of the Swiss Transportation Safety Board (STSB). This report is for informational purposes and contains only information that was released by or obtained from the Government of Switzerland.
