On June 30, 2017, at 2133 universal coordinated time, an Embraer ERJ190 airplane, XA-GAH, experienced an engine problem and returned to the Manuel Crescencio Rejón International Airport (MMMD), Mérida, Yucatán. The aircrew performed a precautionary landing and there were no injuries to the 93 persons on board. The accident investigation is under the jurisdiction of the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGAC). This report is for informational purposes only and contains information released by or obtained from the government of Mexico.
