On March 15, 2017, about 2100 universal coordinated time (UTC), a Bell 206 helicopter, F-GPPH, impacted terrain near Figeac, France. The pilot was fatally injured and the helicopter was destroyed. The flight originated from Poiters Biard (LFBI), France, and was en route to Mouret, France. The accident investigation is under the jurisdiction and control of the government of France.
