On February 26, 2017, about 0140 universal coordinated time, a Cessna model 172N single-engine airplane, Mexican registration XB-MRG, crashed near Magdalena, Sonora, Mexico. The pilot and 3 passengers were fatally injured. The airplane was on a local flight. The accident investigation is under the jurisdiction and control of the Dirección General de Aeronáutica Civil (DGAC). This report is for informational purposes only and contains information released by or obtained from the government of the Mexico.
