On September 12, 2014, about 1000 coordinated universal time, a Cessna Reims, F152 single-engine airplane, serial number 1612, registry CS-AYH, was destroyed after ditching along the seashore of Sagres, Portugal. The pilot was fatally injured. At the time of the accident the airplane was on a local flight from Portimão Airport (LPPM), Portimão, Portugal. The accident investigation is under the jurisdiction and control of the government of Portugal. This report is for information purposes only and contains only information released by or obtained from the government of Portugal.
