On July 12, 2012, about 0945 local time, a McDonnell Douglas MD-500 helicopter, registration OH-HJR, sustained substantial damage when it impacted terrain near Kastire, Latvia. The pilot was not injured. This investigation is under the jurisdiction of the Government of Latvia.
