WHILE FLYING IN THE MOUNTAINS AT ABOUT 5000 FEET MSL (200 FEET AGL), THE AIRPLANE ENCOUNTERED A DOWNDRAFT, CAUSING IT TO CRASH ON A GLACIER. PILOT ESTIMATED THE WINDS TO BE ABOUT 10 KNOTS.
