On May 5, 2025, about 1940 eastern daylight time, an experimental, amateur-built FFF LLC Express 2000 FT airplane, N519EA, was substantially damaged when it was involved in an accident near Polk, Ohio. The pilot was fatally injured. The airplane was operated as a Title 14 Code of Federal Regulations Part 91 personal flight. On April 27, 2025, the pilot flew from Delphi Municipal Airport (1I9), Delphi, Indiana, where he hangared the airplane, to Burke Lakefront Airport (BKL), Cleveland, Ohio, to visit a family member.
